Iconic Peaks
Starting and Finishing in Cwm Gwdhi The route takes in some of the lesser used paths in the area.
Leaving the start you immediatley head up the North Side of Pen y Fan to the summit (886 metres).
Iconic Trail
Once at the summit you will head down towards the Pont Ar Daf car park and head onto some very unfamiliar terrain ready to summit the impending Fan Fawr summit (735m)
Cani-Trail Legends
Heading back across towards the iconic Red Phone Box at the Storey Arms you have a downward 6 miles of winding trail back to Cwm Gwdhi and the finish.

You can run or Trek this event as there is no time limit and there will be a GPX File of the route available to Download. Numbers are strictly limited

History of the route.....
This route was 3 parts of the old Parachute Regiments P Company route. (Pegasus Company) which tested the suitablilty of personnel for service with the UK Airborne Forces and earn the coveted Maroon Beret before It moved to Catterick in 1993.
Cwm Gwdhi was an old military transit camp used in conjunction with the Main Camp Dering Lines in Brecon.
Other locations used in the area was the Reservoir at Talybont on Usk for the Stretcher race which headed 7 mles up the Taff Traill.
