The UKs only 50 Mile Ultra Marathon solely for Dogs Returns

Running alongside our ever popular 30 mile Ultra the routes take you through some of the hidden trails of the South Wales Valleys
Ultra Cani-Trail 30 & 50 Mile
The Ultra Marathon will take you over trails that are rarely used and unspoilt. This loop of the South Wales Valleys will take you through rural areas that where once booming coal mining communities and a part of Welsh history & Tradition. You Have 11 months to train from when entries open!!!
The 30 Mile is fully marked, there is GPX Files available and a GPS tracker attached to you, whats more there is no time limit to this route so you can run (for the speedier) or why not trek it and have a day out with your mates and your furry pal - whats not to like.
The 50 Mile is marked but you must have a decent standard of navigation to enter this route. There is a 17 hour cut off for this route. As with the 30 there is a GPX File available along with a tracker attached to you.
For both routes we encourage Support Teams and you can swap and use ans many dogs as you like throughout the trail.
Team Relay Option
There is a Team Relay Option for the 30 Mile route Only. Teams will consist of a minimum of 2 amd a maximum of 3 individuals. You can do as many or a s little stages as you like and each cross over of the Baton (Tracker) will be at a Checkpoint. and you will be responsible for your own team transport Medals will be a vaialble for all team members and you will be required to have all Team members at the end to complete.

30 Mile Ultra
There is no time limit for this route and it is suitable for both the hardy runner or plodder. It is ideal to complete with your friends. The route is fully marked so no requirement for Navigation.
GPS Tracker
On both routes you will have a GPS Tracker attached and you will be tracked by HQ. It is also a great way for friends or family to watch you from afar via a link supplied.
50 Mile Route
The route is marked and there is a 17 hour cut off. GPX files are available. To enter this event you must of at least completed an Ultra within a year prior to start date
